Transformation.
That’s what happened to this old snowmobile shelter.
When Chris (my husband) and I moved to Beaverton in 2010, Chris quietly claimed this old shed on the waterfront as a future sauna. For years, we alluded to this underused, uninsulated storage area as “the sauna” until one day, Chris announced, “Diane, for years, I’ve been watching you welcome people into our home and walking with them as they journey through life. That shed isn’t supposed to be a sauna for me. It’s meant to be a sanctuary for others.”
Sanctuary: a place of refuge and safety; a haven: an oasis; a retreat; a shelter
Hence, the beginnings of glorious transformations. First the inside of the building but more importantly, the inside of people.
The Shed sits on the shore of Lake Simcoe and warmly welcomes you to SoulCare, simplicity, nature’s beauty and soul friendship.
